What Google data we access

When you sign in with Google, My PSP Planner requests access to:

  • Your basic profile — your name, email address, and profile picture, used to identify your account.
  • Google Calendar, read-only — we read your events so they can show up on your dashboard next to your classes and deadlines. We never create, edit, or delete anything in your Google Calendar.

Why we access it

Your profile identifies your account so your tasks, schedule, and due dates are yours alone. Read-only calendar access lets My PSP Planner show your real events on the same dashboard as your class schedule and assignment deadlines, so you have one place to look instead of several.

Where your data is stored

Everything — your account info, Google/D2L access tokens, class schedule, to-do items, and due dates — is stored in a private Postgres database. It is not stored on any third-party analytics or advertising platform.

Other data you choose to give us

Anything you type in — tasks, due dates, class names, your weekly schedule — is stored the same way. If you connect a D2L/Brightspace calendar feed, the feed URL (which contains a personal access token issued by your school) is stored so we can periodically re-sync it; it's used only to fetch your own calendar and is never shared.

We don't sell or share your data

Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or other third parties. It's used solely to run My PSP Planner for you.

How to revoke access

You can revoke My PSP Planner's access to your Google account at any time from Google Account → Security → Third-party access. You can also just sign out of My PSP Planner from the sidebar.

How to request deletion

To have your account and all associated data permanently deleted, email hreizenson07@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. We'll confirm once it's done.
